Housing

The bulk of our sleeping capacity is comprised of dorm style (bunk bed) sleeping accommodations located in Deer Run Lodge or separate cabins.   These cabin and dorm rooms accommodate between 12 and 20 persons each, and all bathroom facilities are located within the rooms.  A total of 12 private rooms (complete with linens) are available upon request and at an additional fee.

Total winterized capacity is approximatelty  220 people.  During the non-winter months our capacity is approximately 300 people, as we are able to fully utilize the non-winterized cabins of our facility.  Use these floor plans as a general guideline.  Sometimes we have multiple groups using the facilities, so please work with The Conference Director to determine available housing options.

All participants, in the non-private rooms, should provide their own bed linens, towels and pillows.  If not using a sleeping bag, standard size twin sheets will fit our bunk bed mattresses.  If guest speakers or other persons will be traveling by plane or are otherwise unable to pack linens, please let us know; we will do our best to accommodate on an individual basis.

 Meeting Rooms

The Brookwoods Conference Center offers three separate meeting areas.

Moose Hall is the larger of the three and has a seating capacity of approximately 250 people.  This room has high vaulted ceilings with post and beam construction and windows that look out upon the front lawn and Lake.

Deer Run Lodge has a capacity of approximately 200 people.  In addition to ample meeting space, this large meeting area includes a stage and fieldstone fireplace.  There are three individual breakout meeting rooms in the lower level of the Lodge each with a capacity of up to 35 people.

The lower level of the Loon building is a secluded meeting room with a capacity of 35 people.

All the meeting rooms can be equipped with overhead projectors, screens and flip charts.

Moose Hall and Lower Deer Run Lodge contain ping pong tables, air hockey and fooseball tables.

In addition, Brookwoods Conference Center has an inventory of audio-visual equipment including a DVD player, VCR, television, LCD projector, electric piano and a sound system suitable for a guest speaker.  If you plan on using this equipment, please make a request prior to your arrival at Brookwoods.
